Days 1-2 – Livingstone

Our professional guide meets us with a special equipped 4x4 safari vehicle at Livingstone airport. After the transfer to the lodge and settling into the comfortable rooms, our guide holds a short briefing on the next two days in Livingstone. Besides visiting the famous Victoria Falls the following activities can be arranged on own expense: Boats Cruise, Scenic Flight (Microlight, Helicopter or Plane), Wild Water Rafting or Bungee Jumping.

Days 3-4 – Nxai Pans

We cross the Zambezi into Botswana early in the morning on the Kazungula Ferry to get a head start for the 6-7 hours drive to Nxai Pans. After setting up the camp we go on an evening game drive to enjoy the sunset in the amazing landscape of the dry grass pans. Possible sightings in the area may include: Wildebeest, Zebra, Lion, Leopard, Cheetah and a large variety of birds. On the second day we go for more game drives in the area and visit Bane's Baobab at the edge of Kudiakam Pan. The evenings in the camp are spent by candlelight under the endless clear night sky.

Days 5-7 – Okavango Delta

A scenic flight takes us from Maun airport straight to Ntswe Island , deep in the Okavango Delta. After arrival we are greeted by the friendly team of Gunn's Bush Camp and settle into the 2-men-dome tents set on their own platform overlooking one of the Okavango channels. The camp offers Mokoro-Trips (traditionally dug out canoes) and game walks. The second night is spent camping on our “own island” deep in the untouched wilderness of the delta, accompanied by skilled poler guides. Here we experience nature in its purest form, gliding along the Okavango channels in a mokoro or exploring the little islands by foot. Possible wildlife sightings may include: Hippo, Crocodile, Elephant, Buffalo , Zebra, Giraffe, Lion and a variety of Bucks. In the morning of the third day we return to Gunn's Bush Camp and spend the afternoon at leisure.

Days 8-10 – Moremi Game Reserve

After breakfast we are transferred back to Maun by scenic flight. The next part of our tour takes us to some of the best game viewing areas of southern Africa . The first national park on the way is Moremi Game Reserve, which covers swamp areas as well as dry land and is inhabited by a huge diversity of wildlife. Especially bird lovers will get their full share during the stay in the reserve. We will go on game drives early in the morning and in the afternoon. During the midday heat we relax at the campsite. Sightings in the area may include: Elephant, Buffalo , Giraffe, a variety of antelopes, Lion, Leopard and many other wildlife species.

Days 11-14 – Chobe National Park

4 days full of adventure await us, as we are crossing through the entire Chobe National Park . The roads of the area demand everything from guide and vehicle. We set up camp for the first two nights in the Savuti area. Huge elephant bulls that compete for the scarce water resources are found in this dry region as well as the famous Savuti lion prides. From Savuti we continue towards the Chobe River , where we set up camp for two more nights. This fascinating landscape is known to have the densest Elephant population in the world (app 40.000). Our game drives take us along the Chobe River, where we have the chance to see Hippopotamus, Crocodiles, Red Lichwe, Water Buck, Puku and a large variety of birds, including the African Fish Eagle.

Days 15-16 – Livingstone

We break up our camp early in the morning and head back to Livingstone. After the long camping tour we enjoy the comfort of Bushfront Lodge. The afternoon can be spent at leisure, shopping for curios or with another activity offered in Livingstone.
