Days 1-2 – Livingstone
At the airport we are met by the friendly team of Nyala Lodge. After the transfer to the lodge and settling into our rooms, we are visiting the famous Victoria Falls . If time permits the following activities can be arranged on own expense: Boats Cruise, Scenic Flight (Microlight, Helicopter or Plane), Wild Water Rafting or Bungee Jumping. On day two we visit Chief Mukuni's Village and learn about customs of traditional Zambia
Days 3-4 – Water Lilly Lodge
In the morning we are transferred to Water Lilly Lodge across the Zambezi on the Kazungula Ferry. The lodge is situated in Kasane just outside Chobe National Park that is known to have the densest Elephant population in the world (app 40.000). The afternoon can be spent at leisure. Optional a game drive or boats cruise can be arranged on own expense. During the second day our game drives take us along the Chobe River, where we have the chance to see Hippopotamus, Crocodiles, Red Lichwe, Water Buck, Puku and a large variety of birds, including the African Fish Eagle.
Days 5-6 – Le Roo La Tau
After an early flight to Maun we drive to Le Roo La Tau, which is situated near the dry Boteti River . We explore the area on day and night game drives that take us to the few artificially watered parts of the river, where we have the chance to see huge herds of Wildebeest and Zebra. Lions might follow the herds closely on the look out for prey. A special activity offered by the Lodge is game walks, accompanied by skilled guides. During our stay here we also visit Bane's Baobab at the edge of Kudiakam Pan.
Days 7-8 – Gunn's Bush Camp
Early in the morning we are transferred back to Maun. A scenic flight takes us from Maun airport straight to Ntswe Island , deep in the Okavango Delta. After arrival we are greeted by the friendly team of Gunn's Bush Camp and settle into the 2-men-dome tents that are situated on their own platform overlooking one of the Okavango channels. The camp offers Mokoro-Trips (traditionally dug out canoes) and game walks. In the delta we experience nature in its purest form, gliding along the Okavango channels in a mokoro or exploring the little islands by foot. Possible wildlife sightings may include: Hippo, Crocodile, Elephant, Buffalo , Zebra, Giraffe, Lion and a variety of Bucks.
Day 9 – Crocodile Camp
An early scenic flight connects us back to Maun. From there we are transferred to Crocodile Camp where we settle into the comfortable chalets. The afternoon can be spent at leisure, relaxing at the Bar or the Swimming Pool. Optional shopping trips into town, a cultural visit or other activities like horseback riding can be arranged on own expense.
Day 10 – Day trip to Moremi Game Reserve from Crocodile Camp
We leave early to Moremi Game Reserve, which covers swamp areas as well as dry land and is inhabited by a huge diversity of wildlife. Especially bird lovers will get their full share during this full day of game driving in the reserve. Sightings in the area may include: Elephant, Buffalo , Giraffe, a variety of antelopes, Lion, Leopard and many other wildlife species. During the midday heat we enjoy a packed lunch and cool rinks in the shade. We return to Crocodile Camp late in the evening.
Day 11 – End
The morning can be spent at leisure before we are transferred to Maun airport to connect with our ongoing flights home.
